Description
Semax is a synthetic seven-amino-acid peptide based on a fragment of adrenocorticotropic hormone, ACTH(4-10), extended with Pro-Gly-Pro. Resolve BioLabs supplies it as a ready-to-use liquid spray: 50 mg in a 30 mL bottle with a metered spray top.
What is Semax liquid spray?
Semax was developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the same institute behind Selank. The ACTH(4-7) core (Met-Glu-His-Phe) was found to affect learning in animals without acting as a hormone on the adrenal glands; adding Pro-Gly-Pro protected it from rapid breakdown. It is registered in Russia as a liquid preparation but is not approved by the FDA or EMA.
The labeled content is the total amount of compound dissolved in the full 30 mL bottle, so the concentration is that amount divided by 30 mL.
