Description
PT-141, known by its drug name bremelanotide, is a cyclic heptapeptide that activates melanocortin receptors, especially MC4R in the brain. Resolve BioLabs supplies PT-141 as a ready-to-use liquid spray: 30 mg in a 30 mL bottle (1 mg/mL).
What is PT-141 liquid spray?
PT-141 was developed by Palatin Technologies from Melanotan II, differing by a free acid in place of MT-II’s C-terminal amide. It was first tested as a liquid spray in clinical studies before development switched to an injectable form, which the FDA approved in 2019 for one specific indication. This spray is a research material, not that product.
The labeled content is the total amount of compound dissolved in the full 30 mL bottle, so the concentration is that amount divided by 30 mL.

Research background
PT-141 is used to study central melanocortin signalling — particularly MC4R pathways in the hypothalamus that influence motivation and arousal-related behaviour — as well as cardiovascular responses to melanocortin activation, such as transient blood-pressure changes reported in clinical studies.
Format, storage and handling
Keep the bottle closed and upright, protected from heat and direct light. Follow the temperature and after-opening instructions on the product label.
Testing and documentation
Available reports describe the samples tested. Match the compound, format, strength and lot identifier with your supplied label; a supplier report does not by itself verify current stock. See the report library.

PT-141 liquid spray FAQ
Is PT-141 the same as bremelanotide?
Yes. Bremelanotide is the international nonproprietary name for PT-141.
How is PT-141 related to Melanotan II?
It shares MT-II’s cyclic core but ends in a free carboxylic acid instead of an amide.
Is this the approved medication?
No. This is a research material for laboratory use only.
