Description
Tesofensine (research code NS2330) is a small-molecule compound that blocks the reuptake of three neurotransmitters — dopamine, norepinephrine and serotonin. Resolve BioLabs supplies it as 500 mcg capsules, 30 per bottle.
What is Tesofensine?
Although it is often listed among “peptides”, tesofensine is not a peptide: it is a phenyltropane derivative with a molecular weight of roughly 328, far smaller than any peptide. It was originally developed by NeuroSearch in Denmark for Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease; during those trials researchers noticed consistent weight changes, and it was then studied as an anti-obesity compound. It is not FDA approved.

Research background
A Phase 2 obesity trial of tesofensine was published in The Lancet in 2008 (Astrup et al.), and much of the later research looks at appetite regulation, energy balance and hypothalamic signalling in animal models. Because it acts on three monoamine systems, it is also studied for its cardiovascular effects such as heart rate and blood pressure.
Format, storage and handling
Keep the bottle tightly closed in a cool, dry place, protected from heat, moisture and direct light. Follow the storage and expiry instructions on the product label.
Testing and documentation
Available reports describe the samples tested. Match the compound, format, strength and lot identifier with your supplied label; a supplier report does not by itself verify current stock. See the report library.
