Description
SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic small molecule that activates the estrogen-related receptors (ERRs) — nuclear receptors that help control mitochondrial energy production in muscle. It is widely described in the literature as an “exercise mimetic”. Resolve BioLabs supplies it as 250 mcg capsules, 60 per bottle.
What is SLU-PP-332?
SLU-PP-332 was developed at Saint Louis University (hence “SLU”) by Thomas Burris’s group. Despite the name, estrogen-related receptors do not bind estrogen; they regulate genes involved in fat oxidation and mitochondrial function. SLU-PP-332 is not a peptide — it is a small aromatic hydrazone compound — and it has not been tested in human clinical trials.

Research background
In mouse studies published from 2023 onward, SLU-PP-332 increased the proportion of oxidative, fatigue-resistant muscle fibres, raised energy expenditure and fat oxidation, and improved running endurance, and it has been examined in diet-induced obesity models. These findings are preclinical only.

Testing and documentation
Available reports describe the samples tested. Match the compound, format, strength and lot identifier with your supplied label; a supplier report does not by itself verify current stock. See the report library.

SLU-PP-332 FAQ
Why is SLU-PP-332 called an exercise mimetic?
In mouse studies it activated gene programs normally switched on by endurance exercise.
Is SLU-PP-332 a peptide?
No. It is a small molecule, sold alongside peptides because it is used in similar metabolic research.
Does it bind estrogen receptors?
No. Estrogen-related receptors are a separate receptor family that does not respond to estrogen.
